How a Small Pod in Maharajganj is Changing Lives with Digital Education?

Students getting digital education in a rural part of Maharajganj (1)

What happens when a young man walks into a room full of computers for the first time? Not much, you might think. But in a small village called Satbhariya in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, that first step is changing everything. This is the story of the Apni Pathshala Learning Pod, run in partnership with Samar Social and Welfare Society. It started small but is now helping dozens of students and young adults learn computer skills, build confidence, and prepare for better futures. This isn’t just about typing or Excel sheets. It’s about hope, opportunity, and real change. The Problem: So Close, Yet So Far from the Digital World Imagine going to school every day, but never touching a computer. Imagine applying for a job that needs basic computer skills, but you don’t even know how to open a Word file. For many children and youth in rural India, this is not imagination. This is reality. In Satbhariya, many students were growing up in a world where computers were out of reach. Internet access was poor or non-existent. Schools didn’t have digital education. Homes didn’t have laptops or smartphones for learning. And most importantly, students lacked guidance on how to learn computer skills. In today’s world, not having digital literacy is a huge disadvantage. Everything from government forms to college applications to job opportunities requires at least some computer knowledge. The gap between students in cities and those in rural areas was getting wider. And something had to be done. The Turning Point: One Pod, One Partnership, One Purpose Then came a powerful partnership between Samar Social and Welfare Society and Apni Pathshala. Together, they aimed to provide digital literacy to people of Satbhariya. The idea was simple: create a space where students could come and learn basic digital skills in a friendly and practical way. The goal was not to make tech experts but to give them the confidence to use a computer for their daily needs and studies. With support from communities and mentors, the pod began with just a few computers, a dedicated instructor, and a lot of excitement. The word spread quickly. Soon, more than 60 students enrolled in the Apni Pathshala digital education program. What Learning Looks Like Now: Simple Tools, Big Dreams The program is designed to help students learn gradually but effectively. Each student gets hands-on training, and lessons are taught in a way that even a complete beginner can understand. Here’s what the students learn over a three-month course: Month 1: Month 2: Month 3: Every week, students become more confident. Many say they now enjoy using computers and even teach their friends and family what they learn. Real Stories, Real Impact Let’s look at two stories that show the real power of this digital learning program for rural students. Ambrish Kumar – From Shop Clerk to Confident Manager Ambrish, 25, worked at a small shop in Maharajganj. He used to write everything by hand and didn’t know how to send an email or make a report. When he heard about the Apni Pathshala program, he signed up out of curiosity. At first, it was hard. But with daily practice, Ambrish started understanding Word and Excel. He even learned how to manage shop inventory using Excel sheets. Today, he not only works more efficiently but has also been promoted to a managerial role. His employer trusts him with more responsibilities, and Ambrish now trains new employees on using basic computer tools. Ambrish, 25, worked at a small shop in Maharajganj. Mukesh Paswan – A School Student with Big Dreams Mukesh, 19, was a bright student but always felt left out in computer class. His classmates knew how to make presentations, but he didn’t. Joining the digital learning pod changed everything for him. He learned to format documents, make PowerPoint presentations, and research school topics online. His schoolwork improved. He became more active in class. And now, he dreams of learning web development. He’s already looking at free online courses and wants to help his village by making a local website for small businesses. Both Ambrish and Mukesh show us that computer skills are more than just tools. They are keys to confidence, opportunity, and progress. The Bigger Picture: One Year, 250 Students, Endless Possibilities The Learning Pod isn’t stopping here. The team has big goals: This dream needs more resources: computers, funding, and trained instructors, but the community is hopeful. With every success story, more people are joining hands. Beyond the Classroom: A Pod That Lifts the Community It’s not just the students who are changing. The whole village is getting involved. The Pod is also planning community workshops for: This is digital education with a purpose. This is what computer education success in India looks like. Why Does This Story Matter? We often hear that education is the key to change. But it’s stories like these that show us how it actually works. When a young man goes from never touching a computer to managing a business, when a schoolboy becomes confident enough to lead a class presentation, when a small village becomes curious about digital tools, That’s when you know change is real. The Apni Pathshala digital learning program for rural students is not just filling a gap. It is building bridges, from old limitations to new opportunities. If you feel inspired by this story, you can make a difference too. Here’s how: Let’s Build More Stories Like

From Dreams to Action: Vivek’s Inspiring Journey Through Renukiran’s Learning Pod | Apni Pathshala

Vivek's inspiring success story at a learning pod.

When you grow up in a place where dreams often take a backseat to daily survival, it’s easy to lose hope. But some stories remind us that with the right support, even the easiest beginnings can lead to powerful change. This is the story of Vivek Singh, a young man from Tilpat, Haryana, who dared to dream and found the tools to chase that dream through a learning pod supported by Renukiran Welfare Foundation and ApniPathshala. A Life Built on Hard Work Vivek’s family came to Tilpat from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, years ago. His father, in search of work, began labouring in Delhi, lifting iron at a local company. The job is tough and hours long but it puts food on the table. At home, Vivek’s mother takes care of the household. His eldest brother delivers packages for Flipkart. His other brother is pursuing law. Vivek himself is doing a BA (Bachelor of Arts) from a nearby college. Money is tight. Time is tighter. But what Vivek had, like many young people in India, was a quiet, persistent dream. “I want to become a police officer,” he says. “I admire their strength, the way they protect people.” But between college, part-time jobs, and the pressure to contribute to his family, that dream felt distant. A Ray of Hope: The Learning Pod That Changed Everything One day, a friend told Vivek about the Renukiran Welfare Foundation learning pod, a safe community space offering practical training, skill-building, and emotional support to young people like him. Curious, Vivek enrolled. Through Apni Pathshala’s support, the learning pod gave him more than just knowledge, it gave him confidence. Here, he learned: These weren’t just ‘extra skills’, they were bridges to opportunity. From Classroom to Career With new confidence and the right preparation, Vivek applied for a part-time job at RX Infotech Pvt. Ltd. He cracked the interview. Today, he juggles his first-year BA classes with a part-time role, earning, learning, and growing every single day. “I never thought I’d manage both college and a job,” Vivek says, smiling. “But now, I do.” It’s not easy. He travels. He studies. He works. He helps at home. And still, he dreams of the police uniform, of service, of dignity. His journey is proof that when grassroots education meets a willing learner, change isn’t just possible, it’s unstoppable. More Than a Student: A Role Model in the Making Vivek’s story isn’t just about one boy, it’s about what happens when community-driven education meets a determined heart. Learning pods like the one at Renukiran Welfare Foundation are redefining what education means for young Indians. They go beyond textbooks. They offer real-life skills, emotional support, and a space where kids feel seen, heard, and hopeful. Vivek’s success has inspired others in his locality. Younger kids look up to him. Families see what’s possible. He’s not just chasing his dreams anymore, he’s becoming a reason others start dreaming too. Why Stories Like Vivek’s Matter In a country where millions of children face barriers to basic opportunities, learning pods are game-changers. They bring education closer to the community, to the streets, to the homes where dreams are often silenced. Vivek’s journey is not about privilege. It’s about possibility. It’s about what happens when someone believes in you—and gives you tools to believe in yourself. About Apni Pathshala- And How You Can Be a Part of It At ApniPathshala, we believe that real change begins in the heart of a community. Through learning pods like the one at Renukiran Welfare Foundation, we support children and youth who are full of dreams but lack the means. We don’t just teach—we listen, we guide, and we grow with them. Vivek’s story is just one of many. There are thousands more waiting for someone to believe in them. You can be that someone. Join hands with ApniPathshala and help us build a future where every child gets a fair chance to learn, grow, and rise.Contact ApniPathshala to get involved today.

How a Taxi Driver’s Son Learned Digital Skills Without his own PC!: Ayush’s Real Story

Ayush featured in Apni Pathshala’s digital learning program, proudly showcasing his certificates and digital journey.

A story from Learn From Peers learning pod, Mumbai! Some stories don’t need big words. They just need to be told honestly — from the heart. This is one of them. Ayush is 10. His father drives a taxi. His family lives in a small home in Mumbai, where space is tight and money is tighter. He had never used a computer before. Never touched a mouse. Didn’t know what Google was. And yet, here he is — just a few months later — designing presentations, creating videos, helping others learn digital education, and dreaming of launching his own YouTube channel. How did that happen? Because Ayush never stopped believing in one simple thing — “Main seekh sakta hoon.” (I can learn.) This is his story. His success story.   The First Day He was quiet. A little nervous. Watching everything with curious eyes. We asked the kids to open Paint and draw something. Most were quick to start. But Ayush? He just stared at the screen, not knowing how and where to begin. That’s when we realized — this wasn’t going to be an easy journey for him. But it was going to be a meaningful one. Because even when Ayush struggled, he never gave up. He stayed back after class to practice. He drew a picture of a keyboard on paper at home and practiced typing on it with his fingers. Where others saw the struggle, Ayush saw possibility. From Student to Someone Everyone Looked Up To Week after week, he learned new things — how to type, how to make slides, how to draw on the computer. But something beautiful happened along the way. He started falling in love with the world of digital education. At Apni Pathshala, we often ask kids to record short feedback videos about what they’ve learned. It’s a simple activity to build confidence. But when Ayush recorded his first video, the spark in his eyes told a story. A story that is waiting to be heard.  He started experimenting with apps like Canva, CapCut, and Kinemaster. Wrote his own scripts. Edited his own videos. Tried voiceovers. Tried again when it didn’t work. He found his passion: digital content creation. And Then… Life Got in the Way A few months later, Ayush’s family had to move. Suddenly, the learning lab — the place that felt like home — was over 90 minutes away by train.   He could’ve stopped. He could’ve made excuses. He never did. Even if he could only come for 30 minutes, he’d still show up. Collect learning materials. Take notes. Ask questions. And go back home — ready to practice. Here’s the twist: He didn’t even have a computer at home. So, what did he do? Borrowed a phone. Practiced on it. Saved learning videos on a pen drive. Watched them offline. Sketched out ideas on paper and memorized tool functions. When we arranged a donated desktop for his home, Ayush cried. He cleaned the table every day before using it. It unlocked his wings. Today, Ayush Isn’t Just Learning. He’s Creating. For Real. He’s now in our Advanced Tech Batch. He’s chosen to learn video content creation. He’s helping create educational content for Apni Pathshala’s digital platform — content that will help hundreds of kids like him. He’s not just learning how to edit and create. He’s learning how to tell stories. How to teach with simplicity. How to connect with others using his voice. He dreams of launching a YouTube channel for kids who don’t have access to expensive tools or fancy English — a space where learning feels friendly, real, and doable. And guess what? He’s already working on his first videos. But The Truth Is… Ayush Still Faces Struggles Every Day There’s no stable Wi-Fi. There’s school work. House chores. Family responsibilities. And sometimes, just the weight of being a child trying to do so much. But he never complains. Never seek sympathy. He just shows up. Quietly. Consistently. Wholeheartedly. Some days, when no one else is watching, he records 10 drafts of the same video. Deletes them all. And tries again. Because that’s Ayush — a boy who refuses to give up on himself! What We Learn From Ayush We talk about “digital education” like it’s just a tool. But for children like Ayush, it’s more than that. It’s a door. A light. A chance. Ayush didn’t need perfect grammar. Or perfect gadgets. He just needed a little push, a little belief, and a little space to dream. And now? He’s turning into the kind of role model we wish every child had. His Story is Just One — But It’s Not the Only One Ayush’s journey is powerful, but it’s not rare. There are thousands of Ayushes — in Mumbai, in small towns, in villages — quietly waiting for someone to believe in them. Waiting for a place where they can touch a computer for the first time. A place where they’re not judged for what they don’t know, but celebrated for what they’re willing to learn. That’s what Apni Pathshala is all about. We’re not just building learning pods — we’re building confidence, curiosity, and community. We’re proving that with the right support, even the most unexpected learners can shine. If Ayush’s story moved you, imagine how many more stories are waiting to unfold. Support a learning pod. Sponsor a device. Share our story. Or just believe in a child who needs it.Because sometimes, all it takes is one spark to light a lifelong fire. And at Apni Pathshala, we’re here to keep lighting those sparks — one child at a time.

How Narayan Chandra Trust and Apni Pathshala are Changing Lives with Digital Education

2

Firsts are always special. They hold a really important and different place. And that is what Narayan Chandra Trust is to Apni pathshala. That’s the place where the journey began. It’s a small place in Virar, where a story of dreams and determination began. It’s where students who once sat in classrooms as eager learners now stand as leaders, managing the same pods that shaped their lives. But this story is about something bigger. It’s about how these two organizations came together to give the students of Nandadeep School a gift that will last a lifetime: the power of digital education! A Bold New Idea Every state has its different set of norms, rules and culture. This may come as a shock to some of the readers, but In Maharashtra, formal computer classes don’t usually begin until after 10th grade. Most parents, too, believe that digital education is something their kids can “learn later.” They apparently think that it’s a waste of time and it’s not worth it for kids to spend time and energy on computer classes. But times are changing, and Narayan Chandra Trust knew that waiting wasn’t an option anymore.  They approached Nandadeep School with a vision: to teach kids computer skills early, preparing them for a world that’s already so forward in the digital world. Apni Pathshala stepped in with all the passion they are known for and designed a program that would not just teach but transform. The idea wasn’t just to teach theory. The aim was to give kids something they could use—to help them become independent, confident, and even earn an income after their 10th grade. Pitching the Dream The journey started with a pitch. The team prepared a presentation for the parents and students of Nandadeep School. They laid it all out: Despite initial skepticism (since many parents still believed digital education could wait), the clarity and passion of the pitch won them over. The fact that these classes would be free of cost made the program accessible to everyone, breaking down financial barriers that often limit such opportunities.  Now, came the IT moment- the execution of the ultimate plan of bringing magic in those little lives. A 3-Month Program So talking about the plan, the three-month program was designed with precision and taking care of everything important for the kids. The team focused on both theory and practice. The structure was divided into two phases: Mr. Pranav Gorathe, one of the passionate teachers from Apni Pathshala, recalls being assigned a batch of 10th graders. “In Maharashtra, students stop learning computers after 8th grade because all the focus shifts to board exams,” he explained. “I had to start from scratch—literally!” As he shared, the kids didn’t even know how to hold a mouse or start a computer, let alone use Scratch or code. Yes, this may sound shocking to most of you, but this is the ground reality. We do live in two Indias—one, where kids prepare for IITs and work as software developers in big MNCs, and another, where kids don’t even know how to use a mouse—and this is heartbreaking, to say the least! To make matters worse, these students lost almost two critical years of education (2020 to 2022) due to the COVID-19 lockdowns, which further widened the digital divide. Coming back to the classes, as per Pranav Sir, more than the lessons they were an experience. Every week began with a detailed plan, and Saturdays were reserved for listing and reflecting on goals. If targets weren’t met, buffer days were in place to ensure no student was left behind. And then guess what? Something magical happened! The students fell in love with learning. They showed up even on holidays, eager to explore the digital world. In India, if kids show up to study in diwali holidays- you know it’s HUGE! From Struggles to Success You cannot expect your growth without facing any challenges. Similarly, this journey also wasn’t without its hurdles. Many students, like Raj, didn’t even know how to hold a mouse or navigate a computer on day one. But with patience and encouragement, Raj went on to build his own portfolio website—a feat he couldn’t have imagined just a few months earlier! And he wasn’t the only one. The impact wasn’t just academic, it was deeply personal. The school management shared their pride in a heartfelt message: “A big shoutout to Narayan Chandra Trust and the Apni Pathshala pod at Virar for their collaboration with Nandadeep School, enabling 39 students to complete a 3-month program in basic computing, Scratch game development, and WordPress website design.” More Than Just Teachers What makes Apni Pathshala’s approach truly unique is the bond they share with their students. The relationship isn’t the typical teacher-student dynamic. The kids call their mentors “bhaiya, dada,” and the atmosphere is filled with warmth, laughter, and trust. Even the management of the learning pods is done by the kids themselves. They handle attendance, manage social media, and take care of other micro-tasks. This interactive involvement not only builds confidence but also gives them a taste of responsibility and leadership. Looking Ahead The program’s success has sparked new dreams. The team plans to introduce more advanced coding, WordPress, and even connect students with real-world internships. Special thanks to the unwavering support of Mr. Vijay Sarate, the director of Narayan Chandra Trust, the sky’s the limit. This isn’t just a story about teaching computer skills. It’s a story about breaking barriers, challenging outdated norms, and giving kids the tools to rewrite their futures. From Raj’s portfolio website to the games and designs created by the students, every achievement is a proof to what’s possible when passion meets purpose. The collaboration between Narayan Chandra Trust and Apni Pathshala has sparked something much bigger than they might have imagined. It’s not just a program, it’s a movement. A movement that began in a small pod in Virar and now carries the hopes of countless young minds, ready to step

From Learner to Leader: Life of a student in Mumbai

students scaled 1

Aniket’s story is a powerful reminder of how education can change lives. Growing up in the busy streets of Virar, Mumbai, he had little access to technology. His neighbourhood was full of children from underprivileged communities, struggling to get the kind of skills that could set them up for a better future. As he was reaching the end of his school life, he realised he was about to finish without getting that digital literacy which is currently ruling the world. His dreams seemed limited.  But here’s the twist- Everything changed when he came across ApniPathshala! ApniPathshala’s Learning Pod ApniPathshala, in collaboration with the Narayan Chandra Trust, set up a learning pod in Virar with one clear goal: to teach digital skills to children from underprivileged backgrounds. It wasn’t an easy task. Before this program, many of these kids had never even touched a computer. Their schools didn’t have computer labs, and most parents didn’t see the value in digital education. They believed it was only important after completing regular schooling. But thanks to Apni Pathshala’s learning pod, this notion changed. That place quickly became a safe space for students like Aniket, offering hope and a path to a brighter future. Aniket initially joined to learn basic computer skills. Just that. But soon, under the guidance of teachers like Pankaj Baranwal Sir from BeyondExams, Aniket’s learning took off. His rapid progress showed how quickly someone can grow when given the right tools and support. From Learner to Leader Aniket wasn’t just a fast learner, he quickly became a role model for other students. His curiosity and dedication stood out. In a short time, he w ent from being a student at the learning pod to helping run the very classes that had changed his life. His transformation from a shy student with little digital literacy to a confident manager is truly inspiring. And this is what ApniPathshala aims at. Things like this make us emotional, proud and happy at heart! Now, Aniket plays a big role in making sure the classes run smoothly. He helps other students understand the digital tools, making the learning environment welcoming and supportive. ApniPathshala’s approach, which encourages students to ask questions and explore freely, helped Aniket to go on. Unlike the traditional classrooms, where discipline overshadows creativity and often children are not able to raise their voice or ask questions, there are no strict rules here at our learning pod. We rather focus on curiosity and self-learning, which has been key to the success of students like him. The Digital Education Revolution The learning pod in Virar isn’t just about teaching kids how to use computers- it’s about building a culture of digital literacy in a place where technology has been hard to access. Here, at this learning pod, the management charges a small fee of ₹100 to ₹200 per month, making sure that even the most underprivileged students can get a top-quality digital education. Making sure that money can never cause any hurdle in any child’s dream to succeed. At the pod, students aren’t just learning the basics. They’re exploring advanced topics like game development, web design, digital marketing, scratch programming, no-code web development, and tools like Canva, helping students gain the skills needed in today’s world. Imagine teaching these interesting skills at a place where the kids didn’t even know to use a mouse. Fascinating, right? Talking about Aniket, these skills changed his life. He went from having no digital knowledge to becoming skilled at using tools like Canva, and now he even helps other students on their learning journeys. His story shows exactly what ApniPathshala aims to achieve with every student who comes to come. Overcoming Challenges On your way to success, challenges are bound to come- that’s an inevitable fact. But, the way we overcome those hurdles is a true test of our perseverance. And, must i say that Apnipathshala passed that test with flying marks. In the beginning, many parents in the area were sceptical about the value of digital education. Nearly 60% of parents believed that their children should only focus on traditional schooling until they completed the 12th grade. Convincing parents to invest in their children’s digital education was a significant challenge. Many of them also couldn’t afford to buy computers, which made the learning pod even more essential. But the management didn’t give up. To encourage participation, they offered students opportunities to volunteer and manage classes without charging fees. This gave students a chance to prove their worth and showcase how valuable digital education could be. Slowly but steadily, the mindset began to shift, and more students started enrolling. A Future Filled with Opportunities Today, ApniPathshala has touched the lives of thousands of students in the Virar area. On any given day, the pod accommodates 100-150 students who come in for flexible classes that work around their school and college schedules. The students aren’t just getting digital literacy, they are being prepared for the future. Moreover, to give the students practical exposure, pod also provides them with internships, freelancing opportunities, and a platform to showcase their talent. Just like Aniket, who now helps manage the growing number of students and has become a mentor to many. He assists in classes that cover everything from basic computer skills to advanced courses like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Also, every Saturday, the pod hosts personality development sessions where students practise presenting in front of others, learning public speaking, and building confidence. The Emotional Impact Aniket’s story is just one of many, but it’s filled with sheer hope and transformation. His journey from a curious learner to a confident mentor shows that with the right opportunities, anyone can succeed, no matter their background. ApniPathshala has played a crucial role in this transformation. Children who once had no access to technology are now digitally skilled, independent, and ready to face the world. Aniket’s story serves as a source of inspiration for other students, who will follow in his footsteps, equipped with the

This School Transformed to a model School. Learn How!

When you walk into Bal Vikas Montessori School, you see more than just classrooms and chalkboards. You see change. What was once a typical school with basic facilities is now a model school. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Apni Pathshala, which brought a new wave of technology in classrooms. In just 1.5 years, a revolution took place. And this is their story. The Beginning of a New Era! Located in an underprivileged area, Bal Vikas Montessori School primarily educates children from families who cannot afford schooling, let alone digital education. In this environment, Apni Pathshala saw an opportunity to introduce technology in classrooms to these students. By partnering with PRAHO to provide mini-PCs and earphones, they took a huge step forward in digital learning. Before using digital tools, teachers had to spend many hours creating report cards by hand. This took a lot of time. But with PRAHO’s computers, ApniPathshala made a big change. Now, teachers could easily make report cards on the computer, giving them more time to focus on teaching. This change was just the start of a big transformation! Empowering Teachers: From Basic Knowledge to Digital Experts Many of the teachers at Bal Vikas had very little to no experience with technology in classrooms. Most only knew the basics – turning on a computer, typing, and using a mouse. But with ApniPathshala’s learning pods in place, everything started changing. ApniPathshala didn’t just provide the hardware, they provided guidance and a vision. Vision to grow as an individual and build a better future for kids At first, teachers weren’t sure how to fit computers into their daily work. To help them out, coordinators were assigned. One such coordinator is Ms. Anjali, who handles the whole learning pod in Bal Vikas Montessori School. She told us that every Saturday, she connected with teachers and students to discuss how the week went by. She made sure everyone was making progress and all problems were solved. Little by little, teachers gained confidence. As teachers learned, they helped the children to learn even faster. The change was amazing. These teachers, who once found computers tricky, were now enjoying the whole process. A New Way of Learning: Digital Education But the biggest transformation came with the students. And that’s what matters the most, isn’t it? ApniPathshala’s learning pod opened a world of opportunities for the kids. The classes from 1st to 8th were taught at Bal Vidya. Most of them had never touched a computer before. Forget other things—they didn’t even know how to use a mouse! But with PRAHO’s computers, they got introduced to technology in classrooms and these children eventually became confident digital learners. In the first year, the syllabus was kept simple to help students get comfortable with the basics. By the second year, as their confidence grew, the school upgraded the syllabus. By 7th grade, students were creating email accounts, designing posters on Canva, and even learning no-code website development.  One of the most exciting parts of this journey was the introduction of “BeyondExams” courses. These courses exposed students to content beyond traditional textbooks- AI, Coding, Designing, Excel etc. The kids were thrilled to learn new things. And the best part? They didn’t want to keep this knowledge to themselves. This was one of the most fulfilling moments as their educators for us- they started teaching other children in their community who didn’t have the same access to resources. It became a beautiful cycle of sharing and spreading knowledge. And we couldn’t be more proud! Fun learning through Games and Interaction One of the ways ApniPathshala kept the students engaged was by making them learn through games. By introducing fun apps like Duolingo, learning became an exciting activity. Students could play educational games, create their own content, and even help one another understand difficult concepts. The joy of learning was everywhere- from video editing to games that taught them key skills in different subjects. Kids who didn’t like studying subjects like Physics, were now eagerly waiting for their chance to answer. For complex subjects like maths and social sciences, the teachers were asked to provide the kids some YouTube videos and animated lessons, making these topics more interesting and fun. Instead of just reading and gulping down the words, those kids started to visualise the concepts. This made them understand and learn those difficult topics. This practice eventually reduced the stress and burden of traditional studying. What’s the end goal? ApniPathshala has always aimed for self-sufficiency. “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” . Their goal was simple: teach students enough so they could learn on their own and, even more importantly, pass on their knowledge to others. The coordinators played a key role in making this happen, guiding both teachers and students along the way. As a result, many older students became mentors for the younger ones, helping them with different topics. Now, the school is full of kids who aren’t just taking knowledge but creating it. They’re designing, coding, and learning valuable skills that will benefit them for life. In fact, these students are now so comfortable with technology in classrooms that they can manage the computer labs and help their mates, even when a teacher isn’t around. Overcoming Challenges! Of course, you cannot expect such a change without challenges. Some teachers felt overwhelmed by the new responsibilities and the extra studying. A few even decided to leave. But for most, the joy of seeing their students learn new things was enough to motivate them. “It was a little extra, but we’ll do that for our kids,” one teacher said. Another challenge was making sure students didn’t just use technology in a passive way. ApniPathshala solved this issue by encouraging creative freedom. Students were inspired to design and create what they want. Whether it was making a poster on Canva, editing videos, or building websites, the message was simple: learn, create, and share! A Legacy of Learning! “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the
